Cistanche tubulosa Root Extract
Cistanche tubulosa
Cistanche tubulosa — the “desert ginseng” of traditional medicine — is studied for supporting male reproductive function and the enzymes behind testosterone synthesis. Part of the CaminACT® StaminaMax blend.
What It Is
Cistanche tubulosa is a desert plant long used as a male tonic in traditional medicine. Its phenylethanoid glycosides (such as echinacoside) are the focus of research into vitality and testosterone-supporting activity. Human data are still emerging; current evidence is largely preclinical.
Key Benefits
- ✓
Studied for testosterone support
Preclinical work shows upregulation of key steroidogenic enzymes that drive testosterone synthesis.
- ✓
Traditional male tonic
Used for centuries to support libido, stamina, and constitution.
- ✓
Backs reproductive function
Animal studies report improved markers of male reproductive function.
How It Works
Phenylethanoid glycosides from Cistanche have been shown in animal models to increase expression of steroidogenic proteins (StAR, CYP11A1, 3β-HSD, 17β-HSD), supporting testosterone biosynthesis. Note that this mechanism is established preclinically; we present it as traditional-use plus emerging research, not a clinical claim.
The Bedroom Benefit
As a classic libido tonic with testosterone-pathway research behind it, Cistanche anchors the sexual-performance side of the CaminACT® StaminaMax blend.
In GOMAXXX
Part of the 180 mg CaminACT® StaminaMax blend, included for its traditional male-tonic role and steroidogenic research.
